MEET THE FOUNDER

Hi, I'm Matthew.

I'm a wellness coach and hypnotist from Essex. On leaving the navy in 2016 I trained in neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) & ILM Coaching, and being a lifelong learner I've since trained to be an Oxygen Advantage® Advanced Instructor and IHA-certified hypnotist. These are all skills I've used in various managerial roles since joining Civvy Street, and I have a deep love of wellness and a desire to bring my expertise to others.

It's genuinely painful to see colleagues, friends, and folk in general contend with chronic workplace stress and its effects, wouldn't you agree? It's endemic in our culture, and sadly it seems we're expected to simply adapt to it being an integral part of life.

I'm not immune. Like most people I've experienced lengthy periods of overwork, uncertainty, stress and the concomitant baggage they bring. Like many, I wondered how I could get back to enjoying life, family and work again.

One particular stage of my life affected more severely than the others, and I have to credit my family and the training I've had in how I was able to successfully navigate it towards health again. I don't have to look far to see others far less fortunate than me.

I went from fixing aircraft around the world to dedicating my life to wellness. I'm a man of science, and all the modalities I use are science-backed and proven. I'm sure woo-woo has its place, and all the best to those who use it. But if you want no-nonsense interventions that work, I'm your coach. I am trained in the methods used by corporations, Olympic athletes, and elite soldiers the world over to perform at the highest level.

With the right training and tools, we can all move beyond burnout to build resilience and lasting performance, because when people can breathe, focus, and think clearly, everything works better.
